Resumen
El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo general implementar un plan piloto para la creación de un centro de diagnóstico de servicio de radiología veterinaria para animales domésticos en Sahagún, Córdoba, Colombia. Este centro responde a la creciente necesidad de servicios veterinarios especializados en la región y busca garantizar un diagnóstico preciso y oportuno que contribuya al bienestar animal.
Para lograr esto, se realizaron encuestas a la comunidad y veterinarios locales que evidenciaron la demanda por un centro especializado. En primer lugar, se llevará a cabo un diagnóstico situacional que evalúe la viabilidad del centro, analizando las condiciones actuales del sector y las expectativas de los propietarios de mascotas. En segundo lugar, se diseñará la infraestructura y el equipamiento necesarios para su implementación, cumpliendo con las normativas técnicas y sanitarias vigentes. Por último, se desarrollará un plan financiero y de sostenibilidad que contemple los costos de instalación y operación del centro.
La creación de este centro no solo mejorará el acceso a diagnósticos radiológicos en la región, sino que también fomentará la salud y bienestar de los animales domésticos. Se espera que el proyecto genere un impacto positivo en la comunidad al ofrecer servicios veterinarios de calidad y contribuir al desarrollo económico local.
Abstract
The general objective of this project is to implement a pilot program for the creation of a veterinary radiology diagnostic center for domestic animals in Sahagún, Córdoba, Colombia. This center responds to the growing need for specialized veterinary services in the region and seeks to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis that contributes to animal welfare.
To achieve this, surveys were conducted among the community and local veterinarians, which demonstrated the demand for a specialized center. First, a situacional assessment will be conducted to evaluate the viability of the center, analyzing the current conditions of the sector and the expectations of pet owners. Second, the infrastructure and equipment necessary for its implementation will be designed, complying with current technical and health regulations. Finally, a financial and sustainability plan will be developed that includes the center’s installation and operating costs.
The creation of this center will not only improve access to radiological diagnostics in the region but will also promote the health and well-being of domestic animals. The project is expected to have a positive impact on the community by providing quality veterinary services and contributing to local economic development.
